Cold hearts frozen from the nasty winter will be warming up with the holy sounds from the latest viral video out of Northern Ireland.

Priest Ray Kelly surprised a wedding couple with a unique rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." The video has been seen more than 25 million times on YouTube.

Kelly told BBC Radio that he often sings at weddings and funerals, but it was a surprise for the couple who weren't local to the area.

Russel Montminty, pull that stick out of your behind. The Bible says "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise." Psalm 98:4. Which is just what this wonderful priest did. You'd never survive a Sunday in a Southern Black church. Those people really know how to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. God doesn't want staunchy old sticks in the mud. He wants joyous, happy, glorious singing, laughter and praise. You need to seriously stop sucking on those lemons.

I can't believe some of you people. If you think God likes you to sit stiff as a board and never utter an Amen, or sing joyously, or get excited about Gods word, then your God is not my God. My God admonishes us to "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise." Psalm 98:4 I sure am glad I'm not Catholic, I don't think I could stand to sit through one of your services. Have you ever considered that the reason so many have left the Catholic church is that there are too many dried up old farts like you with no sense of humor or joy in their hearts. That's enough to discourage anyone.

To Gale: You obviously have never been to a Catholic mass. We certainly make a joyful noise unto the Lord! We sing throughout the mass, from the beginning to the end, some joyous songs and some serious but appropriate to the liturgy during the mass. We have priests that give homilies where we break out in laughter and applause! Our service is worshipful, and all aspects of the mass is based on the Bible, and verses of the Bible are recited throughout. Instead of criticizing a service you never attended and therefore you do not know what it is about, come and join us one Sunday. You might be pleasantly surprised! Music is very important throughout the Bible. Did not the angels greet the shepherds in the field with song, as they announced their glad tidings about a child is born in Bethlehem? Singing to the Lord is a great way to worship. Our priest also likes to sing but does not have a good voice like Father Kelly! For those of you who posted that the song, "Halleluiah" was inappropriate, the words were changed for the wedding. He only kept the music. Try listening to the video! God bless you all this Holy season of Easter and throughout the year!
