Non-Profit Health Center Adds Hours & Services
The Health Center is expanding its hours, offering $19 flu shots, providing monthly on-site mammogram screenings and offering immediate appointments with a new family doctor, pediatrician and dentist.
The Greater Prince William Community Health Center is already a unique health care facility in our community—providing primary, prenatal, dental and behavioral health care for patients of all ages in one location. Now the non-profit Health Center is adding services and expanding its hours to serve even more patients. The Health Center accepts most private insurance, Tricare, Medicaid and Medicare. The center also serves uninsured patients on a sliding fee scale.
On-Site Mammography Screenings
The Health Center is launching a new program in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Beginning Friday, October 12, the Sentara Mobile Digital Mammography Van will be at the Health Center once a month to provide screening mammograms. Future dates include November 8, December 5 and January 2, 2013.

Patients who want to schedule an appointment for one of these dates should call 703-523-1560 and indicate they want their screening at the Health Center. You need to have a current mammogram order from your doctor. Private insurance and self-pay will be accepted with substantial discounts available for low-income patients. Early detection is the key to successful treatment and recovery.
Monday Evening Appointments

The Health Center will offer Monday evening appointments beginning Monday, October 29, for its four practices—primary, prenatal, dental and behavioral health care. The Health Center will now provide care five days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Monday and Wednesday evenings until 7 p.m. Schedule your appointment by calling 703-680-7950. The Health Center is located at 4379 Ridgewood Center Drive, Suite 102, in Woodbridge.

The Health Center has recently expanded its team of doctors, dentists and other providers. These new providers are available with immediate appointments for sick or well visits.

Flu Shots Available Now
With the arrival of fall and cool, damp weather, it's definitely time for your flu shot. Stop by the Health Center and get a flu shot for $19. No appointment necessary. Federal guidelines recommend flu shots for everyone age 6 months and older, particularly pregnant women; seniors; and those with conditions like asthma, diabetes, and chronic lung disease.
