Update: Outside Burning Temporarily Banned, Fire Weather Watch Issued

Critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur, said National Weather Service

The Prince William County Fire Marshal's office has Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 25. due to fire weather conditions.

The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for most of Northern Virginia and eastern West Virginia for Friday afternoon.

NWS forecast calls for west winds of 25 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour combined with 25 to 30 percent humidity.A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecat to occur. NWS advised to listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
