Traffic: I-95 HOV Lanes Closing Overnight this Week

High occupancy vehicle lanes from Route 234 to exit 169 will be closed starting Monday.

Interstate 95 high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes will be closed overnight this week starting at 8 p.m. tonight.

The lanes will reopen at 4 a.m. on Tuesday. This overnight closure will continue until Thursday. On Friday, from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., lanes will be closed again for test borings, survey work, and utility marking.

Monday night through Thursday night, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., the I-95 HOV lanes will be closed from Exit 152, Dumfries Road (Route 234) to Exit 169, Franconia Road/Keene Mill Road (Route 644).  On Friday night, this closure will be in place from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.

During night work hours the HOV lanes will be open heading north from the slip ramp on I-95 near Exit 169, Franconia Road/Keene Mill Road to the Washington, D.C. line. 

On Saturday, all HOV lanes will reopen beginning at 9 a.m. heading north toward Washington, D.C.
