NWS warns of winds up to 50 miles per hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of Northern Virginia until 7 a.m. Sunday. Predictions are for wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour, with the highests gusts expected this evening.

A wind advisory means that winds of excess of 35 miles per hour are expected which can make driving difficult. Use extra caution when driving this evening
