Woodbridge Traffic: I-95 HOV Lanes Closing Monday Night

The lanes will be closed through Thursday.

The Virginia Department of Transportation will close the Interstate 95/395 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes overnight starting on Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 14 from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m., and again on Friday, June 15 from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., for test borings, survey work, utility marking and maintenance.

Monday night, June 11, the entire HOV facility will close from Exit 152, Dumfries Road (Route 234) to the Washington D.C. line from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Tuesday night, June 12, through Thursday night, June 14, the I-95 HOV lanes will be closed from Exit 152, Dumfries Road (Route 234) to Exit 169, Franconia Road /Keene Mill Road (Route 644) from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. On Friday night June 15, this closure will be in place from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.

During night work hours Tuesday through Friday, the HOV lanes will be open heading north from the slip ramp on I-95 near Exit 169, Franconia Road/Keene Mill Road to the Washington, D.C. line.

On Saturday, June 16 all HOV lanes will reopen by 9 a.m. heading north toward Washington, D.C
