Alice Faye Williams, born on May 27, 1942 to Daniel and Mary Carter, wife to Asa Williams, mother of Jonathan Williams, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 5, 2014, at the age of 71. She fought a valiant fight against liver cancer and only left us when God told her, "Come home, my good and faithful servant, your job on earth is done."
Alice was known for her faithfulness, love, and kindness. She was a mother to more than her son; She was a mother to anyone who needed one. She is survived by her husband, Asa, her son, Jonathan and his wife, Svitlana; their children Shay, Misha, and Jon; her sister, Ruby and brother, Johnny. Her surviving extended family includes her nephews, Timothy Carter and his four children, Jessica, Christian, Casey, and Mary (Sean) Carter, all of whom she helped to rear.
Many others called her mom and sought her advice. The world lost a very special woman on this tragic day. Her life touched so many people and the legacy she left behind will continue along with the beautiful memories she created with those that she loved. Even though she is in heaven above her spirit is seen in each and every person's life she touched. She will be sorely missed by all.
