Thelma was a very warm hearted person. She always put family first. She was known for her ability to sew beautiful dresses for her daughters and granddaughters. She could whip up a custom overnight. Thelma loved to do needlepoint, made exquisite Christening gowns and afghans. She worked for the Department of Defense Intelligence Division from 1970 to 1990 and retired after 20 years of service. During her retirement she spent her time snuggled up with a good book, enjoying her beautiful gardens and home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and children. She was a great mother, grandmother and loving wife to her husband George, the love of her life.

Mom, you will be greatly missed and be forever in our hearts.
