Armed Robbery at 7-Eleven in Woodbridge Area

Third 7-Eleven robbery in region this month.

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a Woodbridge area 7-Eleven late Tuesday.

At 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the store at 5041 Prince William Parkway regarding a robbery.

Employees told police that an unknown man entered the building and approached the counter. He implied he had a handgun and demanded money.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and a K-9 search of the area did not locate the suspect. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, between 20-30 years old, 5'6", 150lbs. with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, tan colored pants and dark shoes.

It's the third armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in the area this month.
