Attempted Armed Robbery at Marumsco Plaza

Two Arrested in Attempted Armed Robbery
Two Woodbridge teens were walking in Marumsco Plaza Wednesday when they were approached by two unknown men that demanded money from them.
Police reports state that when the victims did not comply, one of the men displayed a handgun and threatened them. The other man then allegedly punched both of the teens before they were able to get away and call police.

Vincent Lee Talley, 19 of no fixed address, and Josie Pananie Beckley, 34 of no fixed address, were arrested and charged with two counts of abduction, one count of robbery and one count of a using a firearm in commission of a felony. Their court date is set for Aug. 2.
Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that officers located the two suspects shortly after arriving on scene.

Shooting into an occupied dwelling
A homeowner at the 3000 block of Seminole Road in Lake Ridge reported to police that between 3:15 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., a loud noise was heard from inside the residence. The homeowners did not notice anything suspicious until later that morning when bullet holes were discovered in the side of the residence. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated around $750.
