Beating Death of College Sophomore: Arrest in Woodbridge

Two men faces charges related to Sunday death in Norfolk.

Two Prince William County men are in custody on charges related to the beating death Sunday of a Old Dominion University sophomore, according to media reports, including the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

David William Grimm Jr., 21, of Triangle has been charged with second-degree murder. Grimm was arrested by Prince William County Police, according to the Times-Dispatch.

Christopher Chase Johnson, 20, of Woodbridge is charged with misdemeanor assault in the case. Johnson turned himself in.

Paul Johnson, 20, was reportedly hit while walking near the ODU campus in Norfolk about 1 a.m. Sunday morning, according to WAVY.com.
