Bobcat Stolen From Strayer University

Not the mammal kind of bobcat; one of the excavator and backhoe variety.

Police investigated a grand larceny at on Jan. 12 involving a piece of Bobcat construction equipment.

Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that the Bobcat, valued around $30,000, was stolen sometime on Jan. 12. Police received information about the possible whereabouts of the equipment off of Yolanda Lane in Manassas.

In Manassas, It was confirmed that the Bobcat was indeed the stolen one from Woodbridge.

Johnathan Larry Ellington, 39, of Yolanda Lane in Manassas was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and grand larceny. His court date is unavailable but he was held on a $2,000 secured bond.
