Body Found in Potomac River

Police said that they recovered the body of an adult woman in the Potomac River Wednesday.

Authorities pulled an adult woman's body out of the Potomac River Wednesday, Prince William County Police said. 

Police said that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, along with the Fairfax County Police Dive Team, recovered the body from the river in the Woodbridge area.

Officer Jonathan Merriman, a spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department, said that no other information will be available until the next of kin is notified and the body identified.
