Body Found Under Interstate 95 Exit Ramp

Virginia State Police reports no foul play expected.

The body of a homeless man was found under an Interstate 95 exit ramp in Prince William County on Sunday.

Virginia State Police was called to exit 156 at Dale Boulevard just after 8 a.m. Sunday regarding a man's body spotted under the ramp, according to VSP spokesperson Corinne Geller.

"Preliminary examination of the body suggests no foul play was involved in the man's death," Geller said in a statement, noting he was identified as a resident of a nearby homeless encampment.

State police is still in the process of notifying the man's next of kin and the body has been transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner for a complete autopsy.
