Three area residents came home to find their residences burglarized in recent days, according to Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
Officers responded at 11:13 p.m. Friday night to a residential burglary call in the 2000 block of Horizon Court in Woodbridge. The burglary reportedly occured earlier in the night. With no signs of forced entry, it is believed the burglar entered through an unlocked door. Jewelry valued at $645 was reported missing.
On Saturday night, officers responded to the 18400 block of Woodland Drive in Triangle in response to a burglary that occured between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Police found a rear door had been forced open. A laptop, jewelry and other property had been stolen, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Early Sunday morning, police responded to the 1500 block of Cherry Hill Road in Dumfries regarding a burglary in progress. The owner of a yacht told police that he was docked when he heard noises coming from another part of the boat. Checking to see what it was, the victim discovered four unknown men who then fled the area. A CB radio valued at $80 was reported missing.
