Burke Men Reportedly Assaulted and Robbed Near Rippon Middle School

The men claimed they were meeting an unknown man to sell a pair of shoes.

Police are looking for two Asian men who reportedly assaulted and robbed two Burke men in Woodbridge, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to the 15200 block of Grist Mill Terrace near on Sept. 9 at 11:02 p.m. for a reported robbery. This block is at the end of a dead end street near a stretch of trees next to the school grounds.

"The victims, a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man, both of Burke, reported to police that they made arrangements to meet an unknown man in the area above to sell a pair of shoes," Perok said. "Once there, the victims were approached by two unknown men. The men assaulted both victims and took the shoes, valued around $225, before fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported."

Police are looking for two Asian men between 19 and 20 years old. One man was described as 5-foot-10 in height, weighing about 150 pounds, of a medium build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt, blue jeans, and green and orange shoes. The second man was described as 5-foot-9 in height, weighing about 130 pounds, of a medium build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans and black and green shoes.
