County to Host Town Hall on Future Stadium at Potomac Town Center

All PWC residents are invited to attend.

The proposed Potomac Nationals stadium at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center continues to inch toward its projected 2014 open date with a Town Hall meeting held on Sept. 27.

Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank Principi sent out an invitation to Prince William County residents. 

"Prince William County residents are invited to learn more about the Potomac Nationals proposal to build a 6‐7,000 seat minor league baseball stadium at Potomac Town Center," the statement read. "The proposal includes a 1,200 space commuter parkinggarage to be constructed by Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). If approved, the fullproject will bring more than $200 million in private sector investment and $15 million in investmentfrom the Commonwealth of Virginia."

The Town Hall will feature Board of County Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart, Principi, the Woodbridge Civic Association, Potomac Nationals representatives, VDOT representatives, and Roadside Development representatives. There will be a Q&A session.

The meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at the auditorium on Neabsco Mills Road.
