Dale City Crime: Two Charged in Dale City Robbery

A 20-year-old and a 16-year-old have been charged in two robberies. The following information comes from the Prince William County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Prince William County police have arrested a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old of Woodbridge in connection with two strong armed robberies in Dale City.

Following an investigation by detectives from the Prince William County police robbery unit, the two suspects were determined to be two of three people believed to be involved in robberies on April 4, reported nearly 30 minutes apart.

The investigation continues into the identity of the third suspect involved, police said.

The three suspects were said to be involved in a robbery at Savannah Drive and Prather Place on April 4 at 11:15 p.m. and in the 14300 block of Wrangler Lane on April 4 at 10:42 p.m.

In the Savannah Drive robbery, a 15-year-old Dumfries boy told police he was approached by an unknown man who threatened the victim and demanded his shoes. The suspect took the victim's shoes and a jacket valued around $120 and fled in a dark-colored SUV.

two teens were reportedly robbed by three unknown men. A cell phone was taken from one of the teens. 

The 20-year-old man and the 16-year-old face three counts of robbery each.
