Dale City Man Charged With Assaulting Police Officer

Mario Dominguez was accused of kicking an officer in the leg.

A Dale City man accused of assaulting two acquaintances was also charged with assaulting a police officer when he was arrested, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to the report of an assault in the 4400 block of Dale Blvd on Sept. 29 at 9:40 p.m. 

"The investigation revealed that the accused had assaulted two known acquaintances, a 27-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both of Woodbridge, while at his residence in the above area," Perok said. "During the arrest, the accused forcibly kicked one of the officers to the leg. Minor injuries were reported by the officer and the victims."

Mario Dominguez, 26, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and two counts of assault and battery. His court date is Nov. 20. He is being held without bond.
