Dale City Man Charged With Raping Gainesville Woman as a Child

The rapes reportedly happened at two separate Lake Ridge area addresses.

A 50-year-old Dale City man has been charged with rape and forcible sodomy after a 34-year-old Gainesville woman told police that she had been raped between the ages of 5 and 19 years old by a known acquaintance, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau began investigating the reported sexual assaults on July 10. The rapes reportedly happened at two addresses in the Lake Ridge area, one in the area of Rainbow Court and the other in the area of Bancroft Lane.

The accused was arrested after the investigation and has been charged with five counts of rape, five counts of aggravated sexual battery, five counts of forcible sodomy, and five counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.

His court date is unavailable. He is being held without bond.
