Dale City Man Wanted For Attempted Abduction, Assault and Battery

A 26-year-old woman said suspect tried to force her into back seat of a car.

Woodbridge resident Brandon Skinner, of Darbydale Avenue, is wanted for attempted abduction and a hit and run, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police initially responded to Felmore Court at 11:44 p.m. Sept. 8 for a domestic disbute.

"The victim, a 26-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation, in front of the residence, which escalated," Perok said. "During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and attempted to force her in the backseat of a vehicle. A friend of the victim was able to get the victim freed of the accused. At this point, the accused got into his vehicle and purposely struck the victim’s unoccupied vehicle before fleeing the area."

The victim reported minor injuries. The victim's vehicle sustained about $1800 in damages. After an investigation, police got warrants for Skinner's arrest, but have so far not been able to locate him. 

He is described as a black male, 6-foot-2 in height, weighing 320 pounds. He has a heavy build with short black hair, a beard and brown eyes.
