The victim in a fatal shooting Friday night has been identified by Prince William County Police. Video footage of the incident at a Woodbridge grocery may help identify the three suspects.

Glenda Marisol Coca-Romero, 21, of Woodbridge, died at the scene. A second victim is a 42-year-old woman of Woodbridge. She was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Both were employees of the business.

Officers responded just before 9 p.m. to the Platanillos Grocery and Jewelry at 14342 Jefferson Davis Highway and found the two victims.

Two customers were inside the store at the time and were unharmed. Witnesses reported three men entered the store, followed by gunshots. The suspects fled, possibly on foot. Nothing was taken during the incident.

A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects. All suspects were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.

This doesn't sound like a random act. It seems the suspects were just after one or both victims. In any case I hope they're apprehended soon.

I agree . It was a hit . The police should solve this if they go in that direction .

Could be gang initiation(ie. the act was a "hit" but the victims were still random.)

Bunch of geniuses here. I'm sure the police have not even considered what you're suggesting.

The last person seems to touch the hanging merchandise on exiting; maybe some prints?

yes, it's a hit, not a robbery. Most likely gang related. Victims may be random but since one of the victims was only 21, very possible they knew her. Could have been some sort of vendetta or retaliation involved. Police should start by questioning her friends/aquaintances.
