Firefighters Battle Woodbridge House Fire

Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire crews assisted by Dale City VFD.

Local firefighters responded to a Woodbridge house fire Sunday afternoon, according to a post at the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page.

Smoke was visible coming from the back of the house at 2031 Cheltenham Court. "The fire was quickly located in the basement and was under control within 10 minutes," according to the report.

OWL VFD fire and rescue was assisted by Dale City crews. No one was home at the time of the fire, according to the report. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office.
