Four Teens Charged With Robbery, Gang Participation

Two of the teens, both female, were also charged with prostitution.

Four teens, two of them juvenile, have been charged with robbery and gang participation after a 37-year-old man claimed that he was attacked and robbed at knifepoint along Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

The victim told police that he was walking when a group of young men and women approached him and allegedly demanded that he give the group money in return for sexual favors from the women in the group.

"The victim refused and attempted to run from the group. The men were able to catch up with the victim where one of the men displayed a knife and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim’s pocket," Perok said. "The group then fled the area but were located by responding patrol officers in a wooded area nearby. The suspects were determined to be gang members affiliated with MS-13 and the 18th Street Gang."

The victim was only minorly injured. 

The two females were charged with robbery, prostitution and gang participation. Their court date is Sept. 10. One of the two males was charged with robbery, two counts of gang participation, two counts of forgery, and providing a false name. The other male was charged with robbery, two counts of gang participation, and pandering. Their court date is Sept. 24.
