Gaming Consoles, Jewelry, Laptops Reported Missing in Area Burglaries

Four reported burglaries in the past week.

In four unrelated burglaries reported Oct. 1, several laptops, gaming consoles and items of jewelry were reported missing from residences in Manassas, Lake Ridge, Dale City and Woodbridge. 

  • On Oct. 1 in the 15900 block of Donald Curtis Drive in Woodbridge, a homeowner reported to police a gaming console, camera, laptop and other items valuing a total of $5,000 were missing. The homeowner told police the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Police said there were no signed of forced entry into the residence but that a rear window was open.
  • A camera, iPod, jewelry and other items totaling $5,000 in value were reported missing Oct. 1 from a residence in the 3300 block of Flint Hill Place in Woodbridge. Police said entry appeared to have been made through a rear window which had been broken out. 
  • In the 2300 block of Running Deer Road in Manassas, a homeowner reported Oct. 1 that jewelry, two laptops, two gaming consoles, related games, two TVs were missing. Items are valued at $16,000. Police believe entry was made through an unsecured rear window. 

No items were reported missing Oct. 1 in the 5500 block of Neddleton Avenue in Woodbridge, but a rear glass door had been broken out.
