Hit and Run Injures Two in Triangle

Victims had serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to Prince William County Police.

Investigators are trying to identify the suspects in a felony hit and run incident in Triangle over the weekend.

Near 10 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 18500 block of Old Triangle Road regarding the crash, according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

"The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2005 Infinity FX35 was traveling northbound on Old Triangle Road at a high rate of speed when the driver crossed the double line to pass another motorist," according to Perok.

A 1999 Dodge Caravan traveling in the opposite direction collided with the Infinity. The Caravan was also forced into a 2008 Dodge Avenger traveling the same direction.

Immediately after the collision, the driver and a front seat passenger in the Infinity fled the scene, according to police.

Two of the three occupants inside the Caravan were transported to an area hospital with significant but non-life threatening injuries.
