Perok said the caller immediately contacted police. Police responded to the area of Aden Road and Parkgate Drive where Jerrold Long Feuchtwanger, 34, of the 3400 block of Madelyn Court, was detained without incident.

Perok said the device caused Aden road to be closed for several hours. The Virginia State Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit assisted and determined the device to be inert, said Perok.

Feuchtwanger was subsequently charged. His court date and bond information were not immediately available.
