Jewelry Stolen From Woodbridge Home With Unlocked Window

A roundup of recent Woodbridge burglaries.

Burglary at Valero Service Station. Police responded to the Valero Station at 13295 Trowbridge Drive in Woodbridge on Nov. 19 at 5:07 a.m. for the report of a burglary. 

"Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m.," Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said in a release. "Entry was made into the business through a rear door which was forced open. Cigarettes, valued around $125, were reported missing."

The Valero Service Station was also burglarized at the end of September.

Attempted Burglary at Dr. Sours Family Dentistry. Police responded to the dentistry practice at 12606 Lake Ridge Drive on Nov. 18 at 9:15 p.m. for the report of an attempted burglary. 

"An employee reported to police that she was inside the business when she heard a loud noise coming from the front door area," Perok said. "When the employee went to check on the noise, she saw an unknown suspect run towards Clipper Drive. No entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing."

The suspect is described as a male of an unknown race or age, about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. He was described as wearing a black and blue jacket, pants, and white shoes. No further description was given. 

Jewelry stolen from home with unlocked window. A homeowner in the 15200 block of Forest Grove Drive in Woodbridge reported the loss of $1,000 worth of jewelry. The homeowner said that the burglary happened between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. that day. Police investigated on Nov. 18 at 6:11 p.m. and found no signs of any forced entry. "Entry is believed to have been made through a rear window which was found open," Perok said.
