Woodbridge Crime: Lorton Man Charged with Eluding Police

The following information comes from the Prince William County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A Lorton man was arrested Saturday after police said he ignored a Prince William County Police officer that attempted to pull him over.

The incident started in the area of Telegraph Road and the Prince William Parkway on Saturday at 3:27 p.m. when police tried to stop the vehicle.

"The vehicle's driver ignored the officer's emergency equipment, including lights and siren, and continued onto I-95 into Fairfax County," said police public information officer Jonathan Perok. "Virginia State Police later located and arrested the accused."

Erving Paul Rabon, 22, of Lorton is charged with felony eluding by Prince William County police. His court date and bond information were unavailable.
