Man Charged in Seven Woodbridge Burglaries

Authorities have arrested a 47-year-old Woodbridge man in connection with seven burglaries in the area.

Sylvester Earl Dawson was arrested on Jan. 15, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Police report that Dawson was involved in seven burglaries since October of 2013. The burglaries took place in the early morning hours on Horizon Court and Lost Canyon Court in Woodbridge.

Laptops, a wallet, jewelry, and other miscellaneous items totaling about $2,000 were stolen in the burglaries, police report.
