UPDATE: Morning Crash on I-95 Injures 7

Seven occupants of van being chased flown to hospitals. Updates with condition report.

A high-speed chase that began with Fort Belvoir Police early Tuesday ended in a crash on Interstate 95 in Dale City that ejected four passengers of a minivan.

The single-vehicle crash occurred on the Exit 156B ramp leading to Dale Boulevard from I-95. The minivan was traveling south when it attempted to take the exit ramp at a high rate of speed, Virginia State Police said in a news release.

The driver lost control and ran off the left side of ramp, struck a guardrail and overturned onto the left shoulder, ejecting four of the minivan’s seven occupants from the vehicle, police said.
