Police are searching for three people in an attempted break-in on Horizon Court in Woodbridge on Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
Officers were notified of a potential buglary in progress at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Horizon Court.
A neighbor called police when she heard the sound of glass breaking from a nearby apartment, Perok said in a statement.
"The caller observed three unknown males, all believed to be juveniles, standing to the rear of the residence," he said. "At the same time, another neighbor confronted the juveniles who then ran off."
No entry was made into the apartment and no property was missing. Police are looking for three boys between 14 and 16 years old:
- A white male, 5’2”-5’5”, 110lbs, thin build, last seen wearing a bright purple t-shirt, jeans, a green and brown beanie style hat, black headphones, and glasses.
- A Hispanic male, 5’0”, 120lbs with short black hairLast seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
- A Hispanic male, 5’0”, 90-120lbs, thin build with short brown hairLast seen wearing a white t-shirt with a print on the front and jeans.
