Pedestrian Dies Following Wreck on Minnieville Road
Investigators seeking witnesses to March 29 crash.
A pedestrian struck by a car on the night of March 29 has died from his injuries, according to Prince William County Police.
David Fitzhugh Mann III, 27, of Woodbridge, died Thursday.
Mann was crossing Minnieville Road at Darbydale Avenue after 8 p.m. on March 29 when a 2009 Nissan Murano was heading east on Minnieville Road and struck him.
The driver of the car, a 57-year-old Alexandria woman, remained at the scene and Mann was flown to an area hospital.
"Investigators are continuing to investigate which party had the right of way at the time of the collision," according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok. "At this time no charges have been placed."
