Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed by Man with Shotgun

Pizza and money stolen from delivery driver.

A pizza delivery driver was robbed just after midnight on Wednesday by a man brandishing a shotgun, police said.

The driver, 27, was delivering pizzas in the 1400 block of Idaho Street near Rippon Middle School when two unknown men approached his vehicle. 

Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that one of the men brandished a shotgun and demanded the driver's money. The men stole the pizzas and money before fleeing on foot. Police searched the area to no avail.

The driver described the man with the shotgun as 5-foot-8, of thin build with a black bandana with red stripes around his face and black shorts.

In June, five men in the 14100 block of Mathews Dr. The driver was flown to an area hospital for severe injuries after the incident.
