Police are looking for two suspects who reportedly broke into a Woodbridge home while armed with firearms.
Police responded to the 14400 block of Falmouth Drive in Woodbridge on Nov. 28 at 11:36 p.m. for the report of a burglary in progress.
"The homeowner reported to police that two men forcibly entered his residence by kicking out a rear glass door. Both men were armed with firearms," Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said in a release. "The homeowner confronted the men and was able to chase them from the residence. In the process of fleeing, the men fired multiple times towards the victim. No injuries or property damage were reported."
The suspects were described as black men between 20 and 30 years old. The first suspect was described as 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds with a thin build and black dreadlocks. The second suspect was described as 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with a medium build and black dreadlocks. They were both described as wearing dark clothing.
"At this point in the investigation, this incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues," Perok said.
