Police: Arrests in String of Home Break-Ins

Prince William County Police has arrested several suspects in a string of high-profile break-ins in and around Lake Ridge.

The thefts reportedly occurred blocks apart in homes on or near Smoketown Road in the afternoon Feb. 7. Investigators were able to connect the thefts to similar incidents in Triangle and Woodbridge on Feb. 10, according to PWCPD spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

"In most cases, entry was made into the homes during the day through a rear sliding glass door which was broken out," Perok said in a statement. Electronics, cash, jewelry and firearms were reported missing, he said.

Arrests in this investigation were made between March 4 and March 28, with the help of the U. S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force, Fairfax County Police and Alexandria City Police.

Delonta Marquice Badie, 25, of the 8200 block of Russell Road in Alexandria, is charged with 5 counts of burglary and 5 counts of grand larceny.

Gavin Gerald Simms, 24, of no fixed address, is charged with 7 counts of burglary, 7 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of attempted burglary, 1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and 1 count of conspiracy to commit burglary.

Doreen Sibeth Adams, 21, of the 12800 block of Effingham Court in Woodbridge, is charged with 1 count of receiving stolen property and 1 count of obtaining money by false pretenses. 

Donte Antonio Kilgore, 22, of the 4100 block of Southway Lane in Triangle, is charged with 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of attempted burglary and 1 count of conspiracy to commit burglary.
