Police: Attempted Burglary at Woodbridge Mosque on Valentine's Day

An unknown man reportedly broke into the Islamic Community Center of Northern Virginia.

Police are looking for a man who reportedly broke into the Islamic Community Center of Northern Virginia on Valentine's Day, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to the mosque at 14505 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge at 10:30 a.m. for the report of a burglary in progress. 

"The caller reported to police that he was working in an office located inside the mosque when an unknown man forced a lock door open and entered," Perok said. "The caller confronted the man, who immediately fled in a vehicle."

No missing property was reported. Police are looking for a middle-aged white man, about 45 to 50 years old, about 6-foot-4, of a medium build, weighing about 220 pounds. The caller gave no clothing description. The man was reportedly driving a early 2000s red Chevrolet Silverado with North Dakota license plates.
