Police Blotter: County Employee Arrested at McDonald's, Arrest Made in Missing Child Case

A Prince William County Police investigation into the Aug. 9 abduction of 5-year-old Audrey Anuscheim has found that Robert Murray of Farmville, VA took the girl along with his own child to Washington, D.C., without notifying the girl's parents. The police department responded in full force upon receiving the call about the missing girl, including using the Fairfax County Police helicopter.

An armed robbery occured at the Burger King at 16551 River Ridge Blvd on Aug. 7. Prince William County Police said that the victim, a Burger King clerk, was approached by two men in the parking lot. The two supsects demanded money from the victim. One of the suspects had a knife and the other had a taser, which was used on the victim.

An undisclosed amount of money was given to the suspects by the victim out of the Burger King's safe. Prior to the police arrival, the suspects fled the scene. Police are on the lookout for two black men around five feet and 10 inches tall, both about 160 pounds.

The first male was last seen weaing a black shirt over his head, a black t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans with a gold logo and white shoes. The second male was seen weraing a black short sleeve hoodie, black pants and white shoes.

On Aug. 11, a Prince William County School employee was arrested at the McDonald's at 4309 Merchant Plaza for driving her car towards three people crossing the street in a crosswalk. The accused, Suzanne Guilbeaux Edwards, reportedly yelled at victims before accelerating her car towards them; the vehicle struck no one.

Leonel Vega-Perez, 34, of 14461 Delmar Dr. in Woodbridge was arrested on Aug. 8 for after an ongoing investigation by Prince William County Police and City of Manassas Park Police revealed an alleged sexual assualt involving a 10-year-old known acquaintance that occured between Jul. 1 and Aug. 8. Vega-Perez is charged with three counts of rape and three counts of object penetration by Manassas Park Police and two counts of aggravated sexual battery by Prince William County Police.

Several robberies were reported during the week of Aug. 6 to 13, police recommend that residents lock and secure all doors and windows.

Other incidents of note:

Possession with Intent to Distribute – Aug. 3, a car was stopped in the 14100 block of Minnieville Road and a search of the driver resulted in a bag of crack cocaine. Passengers were also in possession of a smoking device, Percocet and Clonazepam. Three arrests were made in the search, two held without bond.

Abduction – Aug. 8, police responded to a domestic dispute call at the 12500 block of Armada Place. A 44-year-old woman reported that she had a verbal argument with her spouse, the accused, which led to a physical altercation resulting in a broken finer. One arrest was made; and the accused 47-year-old man is being held without bond.

Armed robbery – Aug. 10, police responded to the Radio Shack at 4135 Cheshire Station for an armed robbery in progress. The victims, two Radio Shack employees, reported two men came into the store and one displayed a handgun while demanding money. Two arrests were made in conjunction with this armed robbery, both charged with armed robber, use of firearm in commission of a robbery and conspiracy to commit a robbery.
