Police Blotter: Fight at Mall, Armed Robbery at Dollar City Plus

Prince William County police incidents from the past week.

Prince William County Police reported several incidents of note this past week. Below are the Woodbridge-related happenings.

Fight at Potomac Mills Mall
A 14-year-old Dumfries boy was charged with disorderly conduct after a large fight broke out at Potomac Mills mall on Feb. 12. Police responded to the mall at 8:40 p.m. and broke up the crowd surrounding the fight in the food court area.

Armed Robbery at Dollar City Plus
Two Hispanic men in their mid-20s are wanted after police responded to an armed robbery call at Dollar City Plus on Friday. It was reported that two men entered the store and displayed handguns.

The men demanded money from the clerk, a 32-year-old Woodbridge woman, and ordered customers to the ground.

The men took the clerk’s cell phone and money before leaving the area; no injuries were reported.

Police are on the lookout for two Hispanic men. The first suspect is described as 5’8”, 185 pounds with medium build; he was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white shirt and black hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is said to be 5’7”, 150 pounds of thin build and was last seen wearing a black ski mask, blue jeans and black hooded jacket.

Man wanted for malicious wounding
A Woodbridge man is wanted for malicious wounding after a 33-year-old Woodbridge man told police he was hit in the head with a blunt object.

Jose Arnoldo Gonzalez, 51, of Woodbridge reportedly struck the victim following a verbal altercation and then left the residence. The victim was transported from the 1400 block of Maryland Ave for non-life threatening injuries on Feb. 12.

Gonzalez is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9”, 166 pounds of medium build with black hair and brown eyes. Gonzalez drives a 2000 green Mercury Mountaineer.
