Police Blotter: Heroin Seized, Strong Armed Robbery

The following arrest information was supplied by the Prince William County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Narcotics Investigation

Two men were arrested Tuesday and charged with the possession of heroin after police stopped a vehicle.

Police stopped Tyler Jordan Fernandes, 18 of Manassas, and found him in possession of heroin. Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that the stop led to the identity of the dealer, Christopher Spivey, 44 of Woodbridge, who was located and detained at his residence in Woodbridge.

Perok did not have information pertaining to the location where Fernandes was stopped. 

An arrest and search warrant were obtained and executed. Police recovered additional heroin and money. Spivey also faces an additional charge of possession with intent to distribute.

Both Fernandes and Spivey's court dates were not immediately available.

Strong Armed Robbery

A 33-year-old Dumfries woman reported to police that she was in the area of West Longview Drive on Tuesday when an unknown male approached her and took her cell phone from her hand.

The suspect, a 14-year-old male from Woodbridge was charged with robbery and grand larceny. He is being held at a juvenile dentention center.
