Police Blotter: Suspect Wanted for Cloverdale Park Incident

Updates for the week of Sept. 3 - 13.

A Dale City man is wanted in conjunction with an armed robbery incident that took place on Sept. 9 involving a 28-year-old Centreville woman. Alex Gerald Chirwa, 20, is wanted for possession of a schedule II narcotic, grand larceny and robbery.

Wyatt Jamal Hessing, 21, of 4017 Forge Dr. in Dale City was arrested in conjunction with this case.

The victim reportedly picked up Hessing and Chirwa at Cloverdale Park and then drove them to the 4200 block of Gibson Court. Apparently, the victim knew one of the accused but it unclear which of the male suspects she was acquainted with.

After walking to a residence on Gibson Court, one of the accused drew a knife on the victim, both stole her purse and then fled the area. Police searched Hessing's residence in Dale City and found all of the stolen items.

Chirwa, of 14225 Farmer Court in Dale City, is still wanted by Prince William County Police. He is described as a black male, five feet, five inches tall, about 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Those with information as to Chirwa's whereabouts are encouraged to call the Prince William County Police at 703-565-3186.

On Sept. 10, Prince William County Police Officer Tony Abdallah came across a suspicious individual near the intersection of Lambsgate Lane and Oxbridge Inn Court in Dale City. After further investigation, the suspicious person gave a fake name and identification to Officer Abdallah. Earl Olando Hunt was arrested and then released on a $1,500 unsecured bond. 

Sometime between Sept. 11 - 12, $1000 worth of tools were taken by unidentified person(s) at the 3000 block of Arbor Court in Woodbridge. The tools were reportedly taken from a backyard shed.
