Police Blotter: Woodbridge Reported Incidents

Woodbridge Man Arrested in Malicious Wounding

Juan Carlos Ramirez, 24, was arrested and charged with intent to defile and malicious wounding after a 33-year-old Woodbridge woman reported to police that Ramirez held her against her will May 26.

The victim left the residence at Walnut Street and called police the next day. Police were unsuccesful in locating Ramirez on May 26 but had a warrant for his arrest obtained. The woman had injuries to her arm and face.

Armed Robbery on Bayside Avenue

Police are looking for two males after a 28-year-old Woodbridge man reported to police that he was robbed on Sunday.

The victim told police that he was walking in the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue when two unknown men approached him. One of the men displayed a knife and the other reportedly assaulted him. Police said that the men took money and other undisclosed items from the victim before fleeing on foot.

Police are looking for two black males, reported to be between 20 and 25-years-old. The first male is described at six feet, four-inches-tall of thin build and he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, khaki pants and a black skull cap.

The second male is described as five feet, eight-inches-tall of medium build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, baseball-style hat and a backpack.
