Police: Break-In at Tackett's Mill Car Care

Potential suspect spotted while officers were on the scene, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police are investigating an overnight break-in at Tackett's Mill Car Care.

Officers responded to a tripped alarm at 3:21 a.m. Thursday at the facility at 12831 Harbor Drive.

Officers discovered an open window at the rear of the building. They didn't locate anyone inside, but damage indicated that an unknown person or persons entered the building. No property was reported missing. 

While investigating the incident, officers observed an unknown man running near the business, according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok. The suspect is described as a black male between 19 and 25 years old, 5’7”, 130lbs with a thin build, wearing all black clothing and beanie style hat.
