Police Daily Incident Reports: Alleged Rape, Video Taping at Potomac Mills and Stabbing Incident

Incident Report for Aug. 31.

Prince William County Police responded to a sexual assault call at the 6100 block of Oust Drive in Woodbridge yesterday. A 31-year-old Woodbridge woman was allegedly held against her will and raped by a known acquaintance.

After she escaped, she was able to call police and identify her attacker. Jimmy Arturo Galan Sotello, 31, of 6105 Oust Ln. in Woodbridge, the accused, was arrested in conjunction with this case and has been charged with rape and abduction.

Another unlawful video taping incident has occurred in Woodbridge, this time at the Potomac Mills Mall. The accused, Mark Jeffrey Lebel, 36, of 5825 Ruxton Dr. in Woodbridge, is charged with three counts of unlawful taping. Allegedly, Lebel was using an electronic pen camera to take pictures of women underneath their clothing.

A 20-year-old Dale City woman was the victim of a stabbing incident yesterday at 1:41 a.m. The incident took place in a car while driving with a known acquaintance. According to police reports, the woman was allegedly punched in the face by the accused, John Reginald Bryant III, 26, of 5548 Hollins Ln. in Burke, who then drew a knife on her.

Reportedly, Bryant then cut the victim on her arm and refused to let her out of the car. After pulling over at the 7-11 convenience store at 14410 Minnieville Rd., the victim called police.

Bryant is charged with abduction and malicious wounding, court date and bond information are currently unavailable. 

Prince William County police stopped 30-year-old man that appeared to be in distress at the 14700 block of Cloverdale Road. The victim, a Woodbridge man, was approached by three unknown men -- one of which punched him in the face -- and then stole his wallet. No description is available for these men.
