Police Dispatch K-9 After Attempted Burglary

Front door damaged in possible attempted break-in, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police dispatched a K-9 Saturday night in an unsuccessful attempt to find the person who damaged the front door of a Woodbridge home.

At 10:22 p.m., police responded to the 5700 block of Rhode Island Drive, where the homeowner reported a burglary. The homeowner said that he was inside his home when he heard a loud banging noise coming from the front door.

After checking the noise, the homeowner found his front door damaged and ajar. Police said that no property was reported missing and no one saw the suspect.
