Police: Fatal Car Accident Reclassified as Death Investigation

Frankie Neal Stewart, who went missing last week, was found in the car.

Authorities are taking a second look at what they thought was a fatal car crash.

At 7:17 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a reported car crash near Jefferson Davis Highway and Blackburn Road, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Inside the 2013 Chrysler 200, they found a dead man. Police initially reported Wednesday that the man had died in the accident when his car left the roadway.
