Police: Gun Drawn in Apparent Road Rage Incident

Woman reported incident Saturday in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

Police believe that an unidentified driver flashed a gun at a fellow motorist in a road rage incident Saturday, according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

No injuries were reported and no shots were fired. Officers responded to the call of a brandishing at 5:21 p.m. in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Delaware Drive.

The victim told police that she encountered the driver of another vehicle who allegedly brandished a handgun at the victim before he drove off. The incident reportedly stemmed from road rage, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 25 years old, with a thin build and curly black hair. The vehicle was described as a 4-door BMW with a Virginia license plate.
