Police: Gun Fired in Burglary in Woodbridge
A single shot was fired in the incident; jewelry, a laptop and cash stolen, according to Prince William County Police.
A single gunshot was fired and a woman and two men stole jewelry, a laptop and cash in a burglary in Woodbridge late Monday, according to Prince William County Police.
Police responded at 10:21 p.m. to the 3800 block of Corona Lane regarding a burglary in progress, according to PWCPD spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.
The victim told police that he opened the door to an unknown woman who claimed to have known a resident of the home.

Once inside, she was followed by two men — one of whom was carrying a gun and demanding money.
"During the encounter, the armed man fired a round into the wall," Perok said in a release, noting the incident does not appear to be random. No injuries were reported.
