Police Issue Warrant for Man After Malicious Wounding

Man was allegedly driving recklessly through a neighborhood and a fight ensued.

Police are looking for Jason Edward Johnson after he allegedly cut a man following an altercation in the 14000 block of Mt. Pleasant Drive Sunday.

Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that a 36-year-old Woodbridge man reported to police that he saw a man driving, identified as the accused, recklessly in his neighborhood off of Mt. Pleasant Drive. According to reports, when the vehicle stopped near his residence, the man and Johnson were in a verbal altercation.

The driver sped away but returned a short time later with an unknown number of occupants and approached the man once again. A fight broke out, said Perok, during which the man was hit by a suspected baseball bat by an unknown man and allegedly cut with an unknown sharp object. The man with the sharp object was later identified by police as Johnson, Perok said.
