Police Looking For Suspects in Belfry Lane Stabbing

The victim reportedly did not know his attackers, according to Prince William County Police.

After a Woodbridge man was stabbed on Belfry Lane, Prince William County Police are looking for two suspects, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police are looking for two black males, one with dreadlocks. They were last seen wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves. No other description was given. 

Police initially responded Feb. 25 at 8:40 p.m. to the 3400 block of Belfry Lane for a stabbing.

"The victim, a 30-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown, masked men," Perok said. "The men asked the victim for money which the victim complied. One of the suspects then stabbed the victim in the back before both men fled on foot."

The victim managed to get to a house and contact police. When police arrived, they used a K-9 unit in the search. The victim was taken to a hospital for his injuries, which were not life-threatening.

"The victim did not know the assailants," Perok said.
